what kind of power will a motor with 87 jugs and pistons with vw 75 dual port heads and a solex pict 3 one barrel carb with 009 distributor and a power pully have ??

Put the stock size pulley back on. It ain't worth the cooling loss.I'd say with a header and stock comp. ratio, flat top pistons, 75 on a good day.That distributor is just for a little quicker response.

75 hp is pushing it. I would think more like 65 on a good day.Keep in mind a good running middle of the road 1915 with dual 44's MIGHT make 100 hp.

i had a electronic distributor on it and just didnt run right with it, so i put the 009 on it and runs alot better

Drop a pertronix ignitor in that 009 and REAL Bosch cap and rotor and you'll have excellent performance and better reliability than any aftermarket distributor.
