Drifting in the woods can be tricky. Was third after the first run at B Class and was determined I could go faster, well I did, part way. Luckily I gave RaceFreak / Neil my camera and he found a good spot to video my driving lesson.

Been there, done that TWICE!! LOL I figured you was trying out your rear-wheel steering somewhere along there, that was a hard hit man, glad you're OK and you kept on going, if my front end did'nt break I would kept on going too whether it was bent or not

I agree bucky, couldnt believe it still climbed. Almost ran Tim over at the timers doing a wheelie, lol. Just kept spinning right in the rear, go figure. I have some other rear stubs on an 8 bolt carrier???? Need to figure out how to put them on new arms and I am set.

Jason, you done the same thing Wes done at Windrock, only his wouldn't go after that. Thank goodness it was his second run. They like to have never got it back on the trailer. He messed up his trailing arm, stub axle and wheel adaptor.

Ron, I didn't even have time to notice it was driving funny till I was headed down the hill. Thought I blew the tire or something, it just kinda slid from side to side. And Kathy I know what you mean, took me five tries to get it on the trailer, kept falling off the ramp

Problem was I drifted into the tree, no way to get the treebar to help there.

Suprisingly not at all. I think the tree bar acted like a crumple zone or something. And I also had my straps real tight so I didnt move in my seat much.

Looks like that tree interfered with a good run. You need to cut that tree down before the next event.

nitro_mudder,
r u missing lugs from the accident or due to cutting issues? I am about to purchase a new set of stones and don't want to have that happen. thanks Jim

Did back to back weakends at Wellsville and LBL/Turkey bay and ripped 2 lugs off on the 3rd trip after having them cut. Great cutting job and if all I did was ride in the hillclimbs with them they would be fine. If you look at the front corners where they were cut, most of the lugs are pulling off. I found a used set to replace them and may cut them like I wanted the others. Just remove the excess in the middle down to the cords, but I wont touch the lugs. Then again I never had traction issues with them uncut, just wanted weight reduction. My buggy is not light in the arse, it hooks up just fine.
