You will need to know what year the motor is as pre 96 they are OBD 1. After that they went to the PBD 2. Ebay has a lot of ECUs for sale.

it is a 2001 2.2

Those 99 and up 2.2l are rare and expensive, you could probably sell yours and get enough to buy three 90 thru 94 2.2l engines with the wiring harnesses.
Matter of fact, last year I searched a bunch for one and finally gave up and converted the 2.2l legacy wagon to a 2.5l, it was cheaper.

I have 3 spare 2.2 motors and 2 ECUs pre96 the are alot easier to do and alot cheaper....
