For those of you that don't know, this is Cee-Cee Grisham, Neal Grisham's aka Racefreak's wife. I want to talk to you about a rumor I have heard and my husband has seen on this site regarding a certain buggier's feelings, regarding their time when climbing a hill at Harlan.
Let me first say that I have gracefully volunteered my time over the past two years to help and support the Woodsbuggy hill climb series, never asking for anything in return. During this process I am not the only person responsible for the timers, computer or radios.
If fact, I have taken this responsibility very seriously, to the point that I DO NOT drink during this time because I know what an important position that this is. I have always put the competitors first and triple checked myself to make sure that all numbers logged into the computer were exactly as they appeared on the timer supplied to us. The times are controlled by an electronic timing system. All I do is write down the times that it gives me. I do not control when it starts or stops as that is controlled by the electronic beams. I do not dictate your times...you do.
Now I want to tell you how hurt and disappointed that I am to have to hear this "behind the back trash talk about me" through my husband, which he read on this site. If you have or had a problem with anything that I have to do with, then why couldn't you come face to face with me right then or even after the hill climb if you had/have a problem. Are we in high school ? or are we respectable adults?
At this point I feel it is in MY best interest to not be involved in any responsible position in any future competitions, if this is what I have to look forward to and if this is the thanks I get.
If you feel the need to discuss this with me feel free to call me at 931-801-6548 and let's stop the trash talk on this site about me, please.

No good deed goes unpunished. This 'Hill Climb Competition" has alienated more folks from this site than it has brought together.

Cee Cee..

I completely understand your frustration. You work your butt off at every hill climb and if anyone has an issue with anything you did, they can get off their lazy ASS and help out.

It seems that we continue to have a small group of people that consistently complain about everything and do nothing to help. However, do not forget about all the other people that enjoy the Hill Climbs.

You have been instrumental in all the hill climbs and I want to say "THANKS" for all of your help and support. I look forward to sitting with you and relaxing at one of the upcoming hill climbs..

Take Care and do not let this stuff stress you out..

Ce Ce Ive looked ans searched on here for anything saying that you wasnt doing your job. I cant find it. Im not saying its not on here but if it is just ignore it. Ive been at nearly every event and you always go all out and put forth good effort to makke these events go smooth. I dont know who said what but if it was me me I appologize, I know what kind of work goes into these events personally. The only timing issue I saw a Harlan was Lewis Travis was supposed to get a 2 second penalty for not breaking the finish line with his back tires. That wasnt your fault, that is up to the flag guy at thr finish line. If he didnt know about that rule then he or she wouldnt have told yo to do that. Hats off to ya Ce Ce for like always doing one hell of a job. :)

I have only been to 2 hillclimbs, not strictly because of all the whining i hear from some but i cant afford it.I have been riding for over 15 yrs. and i remember when the internet was not part of buggy riding.Im not saying that the internet is a bad thing but it does allow some trash talk to happen that probably would'nt happen without it.Just my opinion and im sorry to hear that a volunteer has been discouraged from helping with the hillclimbs. There is nobody better than a volunteer.

CECE,,, I hate that some whiners have spoiled your day. You have been the saving grace to many events. I would not have met you and Neal if not for these events,,so they are worth having if not for any other reason. We will learn from this and make improvements.

With the timers being on a beam system, there is no error as to the time taken from the time the first beam is broken to the second. It is accurate probably within a few thousandths of a second. Numbers are displayed digitally on a reciever which they are then wrote down and I know for a fact she double checks and there is no error. If someone has an issue with the time they ran and are blaming it on her, they should be blaming it on themselves because its nobodys fault but their own. Timing systems don't lie, and she takes the job way too seriously for it to be human error.

Remember at Turkey Bay, he borrowed Morgans pink helmet. I think he likes it better. The pink color suits him sooooo well too.

Cee-Cee,From everything I have read, you are well liked and respected by everyone here at Woodsbuggy. Please don't be discouraged by the babblings of ONE Idiot. I think this person should be CALLED OUT, and should defend their position, if they have one. If not, they should " GO LAY DOWN " . Keep your chin up, for you have no reason to even have to respond to such nonsense. If they don't like the rules, leave it on the trailer!!! JMO.

Unfortunatly people tend to talk more about what bothers them then good things. So one mistake tends to get more coverage then 50 good deeds. Kinda sounds like the news, lol. So Cece if you are not hearing a ton of bad things it shouldn't even register. One bad mouthing could very easily have come from this person getting bad information, it happens. The rest of the commitee and 40 or so competitors seem happy to have you. As am I, but you know you are welcome to leave Neil at home anytime, just bring his helmet.

I must say for my first post on this site...I sure got a lot of great feedback, haha. I really appreciate all the kind words. For the most part I have learned to let it roll of my back and keep trying to move forward. Neal and I have really enjoyed becoming a part of the "Woodsbuggy family" and have always looked forward to getting together with a great bunch of people.
We are planning on being at the next hill climb and with any luck we can round up all the kazillion little helmet offspring, thanks to Nitro, and returning them or demand some child support :-)
I truly don't think Neal should get a pink helmet, afraid the babies will think he's their mama. The thong is enough ! lmao
