I currently have a Chenowth 2LW chassis. It is very well made and I am very happy with it, but am looking to upgrade to a 4 seater. I like the looks of the Stalker 2+2 chassis with the optional bracing package.

Most of the guys out here run sand only frames with very little bracing. They seem to twist alot and alot have cracked or worse. I use mine in the desert alot and really like how well the Chenowth is built and all of the abuse it will take.

The Berrien Stalker 2+2 with the bracing kit looks like it would be a heavy bullet proof frame also. After looking through your site and seeing how rough you guys are on your cars with the woods runs and such, I though you guys would be the perfect people to ask about a bullet proof frame!

Would this frame fit my needs?? Lets hear those opinions!

Why dont you go with the chenowth 4 seat explorer,thats what I have with extra bracing,great chassis

I would take a Chenowth any day over a Berrien.

What makes the Chenowth a better frame. Curious minds want to know.

i had a Berrien frame for 8 years no cracking no flexing had 2 head bars race brace and so on 100 inch sand fox. took some hard lickks could no complain

The reason I am shying away from the new Chenowth Explorer is, the rear torsion. It is wider and requires special trailing arms and coil overs.

That will blow my budget and will not alow me to swap over most of the stuff from my older Chenowth car.

Unless I am missing something on their website.

Sharpshooter....is yours set up that way? Or can you use 3x3's and regular shocks?

For desert riding the stalker 2+2 will be fine, if it were for the woods you stretching it a bit on length. I hoping to start my 4-seater soon and am looking at som of the 106" beline frames.

Looks like I was misinformed on the Chenowth frames. It just has a wider torsion housing. I can use my regular 3x3's and my 12" Fox resevoir shocks. Good thing I looked again! Not to mention they are local and I can shoot down and pick it up.

DVS1 I can't get over how cleanly built your buggy is you should put that buggy in hot VW sharp is a under statment . I always seen your buggy in the little window just could'nt see it up close thats bad ass!

I must say, that is one fine machine, it sure looks like you took your time and did it right. The quality of craftmanship on that rig looks unreal, not too many guys can build one like that. keep up the good work!

i can't help but also comment on dave's buggy and it's excellence. i have never rode in a car on the highway that compares to as comfortable and smooth as that thing rides in the WOODS. when we were getting my buggy out i was almost asleep in the passenger seat it is so comfortable haha. not too mention how capable it is. the motor sounds like no vw i have ever heard...
