im looking for a side shift trans r&p or even whole other trans. mine made it 1.5 rides before the ring gear decided to strip the teeth off... bulletproof my ass.. please let me know what you have or how much you want for it.

Yeah mine did the same thing. Don't know where you can get one , but I am told that happens because the pinion nut comes loose. So when you get another be sure to have it gone through and at the very least lok tight it. There is a chrome molly nut you can get for like 40 dollars too from weddle or rancho transmissions.

Weedle has 2 different flavors of the chrome moly pinion nut.
I use the wide flange one, with blue locktite, it's stronger than the outside of the pinion bearing.
It is a pain to install, compaired to the regular moly pinion nut.
In this pic you can see the threaded part of the pinion bearing is still in the wide flange moly nut.
I'm still using that same pinion nut in my tranny now.
