Any cheap suggestions for a front disc brake setup for kingpin front,any junkyard versions :?: :?: :?:

Cut off your k/p spuds, weld on some b/j spuds ( can get 'em from Tim,$15 ea.) as far down and back as you can on the spindle. Reinforce the back side of the spindle. Get some used Superbeetle rotors, and some small calipers. Karman ghia's work decent for front. Streetbike calipers work well too, you might have to turn down the rotors real thin, though. Cheapest way I know of.

the cheapiest way would be bolt on some drums. if your combo spindles have that three hole bolt pattern. the drums should bolt right on

tweeds says balljoint backing plates + link pin drums works on there stuff
good drums will be fine for the money

I have drum brakes on the front of my chaindrive and there the three bolt pattern like on the combo spindles. with wilwoods on the rear
