This is the trailer I made for my buggy... (my friend Mike did the welding...) My father-in law gave me the trailer after a tree fell on & ruined the boat that used to live on it. I added about 22' of 2" square tubing and 20' of 2" angle... the size was just right for my buggy, which has a little shorter wheelbase than most (94") - the only real issue, which has worked out fine, was the light tongue weight (like 30lbs with just the buggy) due to the CG of the buggy slightly behind the axle, but I've had it up to 65 so far and it tows great with only occasional knocking over bumps & such. Thought I would post it up since I hadn't seen one like it and it works...

As long as the axel and springs can handle the weight it looks good.

yeah, trailer SN# sticker says it's rated for 1500lbs, and the axle is a 2000lb axle. Can't carry much else on it but it does the buggy ok.

I was on the hunt for a cheap boat trailer for a while before I bought my trailer. Looks great.
