so just post what trany your running and whats been done to it or if its stock

also what kind of motor ac wc and what HP

mine is stock 6 rib in front of a Subaru ej22 with about 140 hp using 3.5x4.5 homemade trailing arms and 930 cv's 8)

VW 2276 air cooled, about 150 horsepower. 6 rib, 091 with super diff and Weddle close ratio 1st. thru 4th. First gear raised and second through fourth lowered and evenly spaced.

82 vanagon converted to nose cone shift, or 77 to 79 style. Everything that can be changed for the better has been. running a type 1 VW AIRCOOLED. HP ???

I am running a 1915 with dual webbers, 3 rib bus trans with stock gears in my 4 seater for the street, and I am running a stock 6 rib with a soon to be Shadetree 2165 with dual dells on my woods buggy.

3 rib bolted to a 1915 with dual webers, engle 110 cam, 1.25 rockers. HP I would guess maybe 90 give or take.

Been in there for three years, reverse is starting to show signs of being stubborn and not stay in gear.

That's sweet, is it a 1600 with cylinder sleeves, or a 1300 with a p/c kit? That kind of displacement has to be ideal for drilled valves! :lol: I hope that 6-rib will last for ya! :twisted:

Its a 1300 with an offset grind on the rod journals to increase the stroke 8) . Its bored out a little too, but instead of bigger pistons, I used wider rings to take up the slack :wink: . Shore do get a lot of piston skirt slap, though.
