just for fun why dont you swap 3&4 plug wires see if that does any thing. i have been working with vw's since 91" and have done that once or twice. as for carb take it off and blow some air in the jets to see if there is trash in there.

Yeah, I believe we tried that, if I remember right, and it didn't change anything at all
And yes, it definitely seems like there's some sort of carb trouble in the mix. Still haven't even taken the cover off the damn thing since I started this thread!
I'm blaming it on having a girlfriend... :?

Well, the way I've been lookin at it, one of them needs fixin, and the other runs like a well oiled machine. The well oiled machine has won out almost every time
We've only been going out for less than 3 months now...so things are still good, hah. 8)

Another One Bites The Dust :(
Sorry to hear that, dude. Maybe you'll have time for it in a couple years.

Correction...life got in the way...and another buggy...
I haven't bitten the dust, and I'm trying to keep ahold of my buddy along the way. Now HE's got a girlfriend! Damn.
I'm in the process of getting my V6 running with my "custom" wiring harness!

Yeah, he's been trying to get rid of this whole buggy. It's the orange one you asked about.
The V6 buggy is the one that I'm currently building from the ground (knockdown kit) up.
Kapish?
