I'm posting this for a buddy of mine, he has 3 3-ribs for sale. All in good working order. $300 for an "acorn" 3 rib and asking $350 each for the other 2.

Can someone explain what an "acorn" 3-rib is? I have never heard of those.

they have "acorn nuts" and a retaining plate behind the drive flanges that hold the diff in place

also they were a 68 model only tranny but will swap out with any of the 3 rib trannys
