thicker ribs makes the case better,,makes a stronger , less likely to flex,,,convertible to nose cone shift makes it great for parts,,not as beefy gears as the "mid shift". Might be 4.57,,,4.86 or 4.83,,,might have super diff,,but rare. Get it cheap as you can and save it. jmo

I am running one that i had converted for nose shift. Running it behind a v-8 chevy. so far so good

you have to change mid section and nose cone...

no the mid section is a little shorther and i think the rails wont match...?
