I will have a broken 3 rib at the lansing buggy show. 150.00 for the whole thing. It binds when you put it in gear, never took it apart could be something easy or difficult to fix. Thanks Dave T

Bell housing is fine. I will sell just the bell after the Lansing show if the whole trans does not sell. Thanks Dave T

Nick are you using the transmission straps as mounts? If so those top mounting ears won't matter. Most buggys run the straps and do not make use of those mounting ears on the top.

if you want a 6 rib one i have one i think. i forget what you have to do to make a normal starter work, i think you just mill off the mounting plate surface of the bellhousing.

I really just want to get a 3rib one, but if i go with the 6rib housing do you know the specs on how much i need to shave off of it? Would it be easier and/or possible to mill the plate on the starter instead?

I dont remember exact but its not much.. Measure form the mounting base of starter to end of bellhousing and that will tell you.

I think it is about 1/4 inch , , the 6 rib bell has a beefier thro out bearing arm. If you are set on a 3 rib bell, and can't find one cheaper,,, I have one I will sell for $45 shipped.
