I mounted the V threads on my buggy tonight. I am going to run them at the Cold Spot tomorrow. I will report back what I think of them. I kinda hope I like them. Then I will be able to carry two sets of tires around. Just like the big boys do. If I don't like them there will be a set of 4 ply Flotations mounted on Jackman wheels in the classifieds tomorrow evening.

Well. considering the two large handicaps these tires had. 1. not enough ground clearance. 2. Offset. 12" wheels with no offset+ 3" wider arms =7'6" wide buggy.
They work pretty well though. 1st gear seemed to low and 2nd gear to high for climbing. It was fun to finally try them.

I am going to keep them. There is no doubt they climb. So do the Boggers. These things certianly get a better hole shot. They take off right NOW. I almost flipped yesterday because I tried to stop and start on "Gone to far" just to see if I copuld do it. But on a hill like "Angina Ridge" where you start with your front wheels on the hill, these will have to work better. But having said this I have been up some nasty hills with my Boggers. They are still my first choise. Now that I have a choise.

Dean you can bring them to the creek next weekend and I will test them out for you. I wouldn't want them to be sub standard or anything. lol!! Hope to see you there, I am improving some and hope to ride by then.
