i got a 1915 with an 091 nose shift transaxle... i thought it had the wrong strap on the bellhousin so i went to drews and bought a new bus strap kit since i needed the square strap anyways... i tried to replace the strap and it still doesnt fit the bellhousing at all.it actually already was correct... only thing i know that is different than stock is it has a starter out an auto.... does the 091 have a different shaped bell than say a three rib? does it have a specific strap cause i cant seem to find one? or do i need to shim it? hell while i am at it it anyone got stock gear ratio vs the 3 rib? i wanna say the 3rib is geared lower right? cause it seems like i need to pop it at a higher rpm than my buddy's three rib or it dogs out...

My strap did not fit very well either... I believe the more square corner is for the Starter.. I had to shave some of the strap to fit next to the two mounts on top of the tranney.. It looks pretty far off but it will fit.. Get some long bolts and just keep pulling it down..

3 rib has a 5.38 R/P & a 6 rib 4.57 1-4 gears are a bout the same . You can get a 5.42 R/P for the 6rib or a lower 1-2 gear
