URINE TEST
(I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)

I DO HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB..... BUT I AGREE 100%

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I Do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who Don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I Do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS, doing drugs, while I work. . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check ?
Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!

Awesome idea!
But since I work and pay taxes and all that, would I still have to take the random tests? (like I do now)

Lives are being lost everyday in Iraq .Gas is over 3.00 a gallon and is projected to be 4.00 a gallon next year with no end in sight, all the jobs are going overseas and your worried that a woman will be in office?? It doesn't matter who the next president it, because nobody can do as bad as this one!

I disagree, Hilary can (and probably will) do much worse. What has she ever been in charge of? Damage control? Empty promises to get votes? We've got to see the big picture. Riding in on the coat-tail of a failed administration doesn't cut it for me. I have no problem with a woman president, just not that woman.

Wait a minute, I never said Hillary or Billary is the answer, I just can't believe this country is in the shape thats its in and nobody even seems to care, like Curt said, they care about whos the next American Idol than they do president. Failed administration?? Wasn't our countrys debt going to the + side when that adminstration left, oh wait, I guess being trillions in debt is not failing, not counting all the lives of our soldiers. If that was a failed adminisration, what do you call this one?????

Sorry to hijack this thread, but that urine test it a very good idea and should be implemented quickly! It would save our country billions.

I agree BUGGYMAN this country needs to finish its job in Iraq and send the boys home for christmas!! Turn the place into a mirror! WE ALL NEED TO VOTE AND GET THINGS DONE. Most americans dont vote. PLEASE VOTE and maby we make a change. I dont care about the hijack cause your right we could get out debt by making people take a simple drug test.

Hey I never said the Bush admin wasn't a failure. The economy is taking a dump. Our dollar is becoming worthless. This whole Iraq/ Afgan thing is a mess and it's not over! Just wait til Iran starts pushing our buttons. Hell, they already are. Not to mention China, N korea, Hugo Chavez etc...
The biggest failure in my opinion from the current admin is border security. What's so hard about it? There are laws in place, we just can't seem to follow them. Giving constitutional rights to people who aren't even covered by OUR constitution?? Locking up border patrol agents for doing their jobs? Allowing illegals to hide out in churches and be protected by local officials in places like MA and others? I just can't get my head around it.
I'm not an expert by any stretch, but I know when something isn't right. There's got to be someone out there who understands the issues that real Americans worry about. Hillary just isn't that person.
I'm a desert storm era vet. My younger brother has done 3 tours in the sand since 9/11. I consider myself a patriotic person and I don't like the state of our country OR the options we're looking forward to.
Having said that, I still believe (even with all the probs) that this is the greatest country on earth and I'm glad my kids get to grow up here and not in some 3rd world dictatorship.
Sorry -Thanks!
