Has anyone ever had problems out of this company?? cause i have had noting but problems with them. lol both times i have ordered stuff from them its been 3 weeks till i get my stuff.

Against my better judgement after the first go round with them i ordered a u bend collecter and brass nuts from them, its been a week since i got my conformation letter from them. the letter said that i would get my shipment from them on thurs, i havent recieved it yet so i called them today. the guy tells me that my collecter is on back order and wont ship out till tues....well that would be fine but they never told me it was on back order. no email, no phone call no nothing. what is up with that?? i should have just drove my lazy butt down to drews for the 6th time in a month (its an hour away from me) and bought it from them. Plus the service is better. at least they will tell me if they dont have it. just goes to show you . i have always been the type of person to buy stuff locally and not over the internet, at least you get told why they cant get it or dont have it.

So i guess i would like to thank drews off road for treating me so well every time i have been down there and helping me see the light!!

oh i ordered pedals and cutters fron appletree the last time and it was three weeks and i had not got them, i called them and they said " we shipped those out last week" and low and behold 3 days later i got my parts and the tracking number worked. so you know they just shipped them out when i called.

sorry i just needed to vent!! lmao :D

that is ridiculous, a company that big should have their sh*t together. I myself am an internet seller, and I always immediately contact my buyers if there is an issue. Pure laziness/lack of caring.

All most shops now a days just has a desk and a bunch of books to order stuff from and has a shop to install the parts for the customers and/or display what they can get.

If you have never been up that way. It is a small place despite the big advertising. They always take 3 weeks about stuff. They did that to my buddy. 2 weeks after he ordered a bunch of stuff (we are 1 day shipping from there) he called and they were holding the whole order for one part.

I have bought several items from Appletree with good success. I try to buy from our Sponsors mostly but Appletree has a lot of hard to find products. I have made several efforts in Email form to gain Appletrees support for this website with no luck. It is a shame too cause they are a big outfit and I am sure we could benefit from each others support.

Hey Guys, we will jump on asap and become a major supporter of the site. We always like to see site dedicated to the things we love. February was a very busy month for us and we added a 4000 sq ft addition to handle our mail order shipping area. Unfortunatly this put a couple a wrinkles in our shipping process and caused a lot of delays so if anyone is reading this that had a slow arrival were are sorry and email me and I will send you a free shirt for the trouble. As always we like to keep everyone happy and calling and informing of backorders is always something we strive to do. Unfortunatly the load of orders combined with construction didn't give our salesmen a chance to do that on a few orders. We are also installing a new email updater system that will automatically inform you of order status changes or notes. Hope to see some of you at the Lansing Buggy Show this Month.

I have a question…

I ordered a Dellorto carb manual from your website (item found in your ebay store) on January 13. I never got a phone call or an email from you. One month later, on February 14, I called to check the status of my order. (I’m very patient) I was told they were on back order, and nobody knew when they would be shipped again. I was offered a credit and received it 8 days later. All in all… a complete waste of my time.

My question is…and I completely understand you can run out of stock and items get back ordered or you're very busy… but why are you putting items up for auction on ebay when you know you don’t have them? Through this whole ordeal, you had a listing on ebay selling these manuals… and there’s still one there today… and still says there is a quantity of 2 available.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DELLORTO ... ccessories

… but when I called, I was told they are on back order.

Just a suggestion, for your ebay store items anyway, don’t list items you don’t have in stock. You’ll save everybody’s time… and avoid some of our criticism.

I’m not mad at you.

(As they say), I’m just saying

You can send the T Shirt to…

Bill, thanks for the feedback, the simple truth is we have a automated system that feeds active items to ebay every 30 days. We never usually expect an item to be more then 4 or 5 days BUT when suppliers run out then we are in trouble. With 3000 items on ebay it is very challenging to keep everything perfectly updated with inventory levels since we have ebay, our website, phone orders and amazon all trying to grab the same inventory. Thanks again for the feedbay

I had the very same problem with them a few yrs ago, their excuse then was they had just finished a bug show and hadn't unpacked the trailers yet, I guess they take the whole store with them to a show.
That was my first and last dealings with them.

Yeah, true story on the buggy show. We would take 5 trailers and 2 rental trucks. Pack almost everything we owned and move it to lansing for the day. Setup in 3 hours sunday morning and then put it all back together again the next week. Created a disaster and needless to say we don't do that anymore. Rack it up to over enthusiam or stupidity for even doing it. We also built 3 brand new turn key rails starting 2 weeks prior to take to the show. Sounds like I owe Maddog a shirt too. Hey guys FYI though...they do come in different sizes so unless you want a extra small better speak up.

Ive spent alot of money at appletree and only had 1 problem with a order and they made it right even though it was to my benefit and not theirs. I like dealing with them if they dont have it in stock or its on back order they always tell me, but i dont order on the internet just but phone .

100% support you on this statement. If you have never owned or operated an internet business, YOU HAVE NO IDEA how hard it is to actually keep inventory up to date when you have thousands upon thousands of listings. We do amazon, ebay, and a seasonal store for halloween. Between incorrect listings, broken items, returns, manufactured defects, etc., Inventory gets ROUGH, and what the person that you wrote this response for said is a typical response from buyers when you run out of stock. but honestly not to be a dick, you really have to be in internet sales to see how tough it actually is. We've also taken our whole inventory from our warehouse to our seasonal store (similar to you and lansing), and I will say that it is a DISASTER. We are one of the largest internet halloween costume and novelty sellers on ebay (and once amazon), and work out of crappy old factory turned warehouse, appletree may be the same deal? Things you don't realize!
You get negative feedback, you get unhappy customers, you get cases filed, paypal lock outs, ebay lock outs, listings deleted (try getting over 10,000 listings deleted at once), etc. etc. etc. but you try your hardest to get to your customers and make them happy. It's called being in business. Good luck guys and welcome to the site!

sorry for the rant, but I can relate, thought I'd share my views.
