Good upper limit stop. The red is a rectangular pro-thane bushing 1 x 1 x 1 1/2, or something like that. Works well on my set-up.

I got mine from my local Murray's Discount Auto Store. They were energy suspension and had them on the shelf for less than $15. Summit, Jegs, and ebay all have them, just search bump stops.

One of my new trailing arms...

I pulled my tires out too, 33x12.50 boggers. I bought them cut like this but may do some more trimming.

I'm confident they should hold up. The first trial of this arm was made out of electroweld 1-1/4" .095, riden hard and even raced. These are DOM .095 1-1/4". Time will tell.

Its a roller!!! I'm going the cut the race brace out and re-do it, and I need to move the transaxle back about 2 inches. I've got my 23" axles in the mail and new BTR beadlocks :D I think were going to dimple die the trailing arms in too. Image

TBD... as it sits its 85". Thats part of the reason I'm getting some new wheels. I've got som BTR's in the mail. The current steel wheels ar 10" with 2" backspace. I've seen 33-12.50 boggers on the 7" BTR's, after I mount one I'll see If I need to go with 33-10.50 boggers. I should be in the 80-81" range. Also, Its 110" wheel base right now.

The backspace on the BTRs isn't a whole lot better. I think they have a 2.5" backspace. Lookin Good! That shock boss looks familliar!

2.75" backspace isn't much better but the wheel beeing thinner should help too. And thanks for the shock boss in a pinch!!! I just got some shipped to me today to get you hooked up. The front air shocks are going to need more than 200psi... I'll have hook you up with some bud light in trade for more nitrogen :D

I started with 300# in my front shocks and it wouldn't budge. If you go with 300 be prepared to let a little out. I would try 250. My shocks are 12" if I remember right. Buggy looks really good.

I don't claim to know much about the air shocks, but doesn't the oil level also assist in the "spring rate" or is that more about the dampening? I believe acole has the same front arms as you (40 deg), so in a perfect world, the same pressure would have the same results. If it were only that easy :?

The oil is the dampening and the nitrogen is ride height, so they say. I had my shocks fully extended and added 300# and after fighting to get them on the car the front end wouldn't budge. I would have to check to see how many cc's of oil I filled them with. I just tapped the schrader valve until i got some movement out of the shocks. I have a long way to go to get them right. I haven't driven the car yet either so some heat and movement may help losen them up. Yes, we do have the same front arms.
