Yep, and I'm still scared, I'll get tipsy and let someone talk me into killing myself on a high wall I have no business on.

[quote="LUV Buggy"]As promised, here are some fresh pics. In case you are wondering about the white paint stripes on the tires, apparently they did that for the camera or some such purpose. I imagine the paint could be taken off easily. As you can see, under the Chain Drive are the two 44" Gumbo Monster Mudder tires, which would be ideal for bolted tires. Also underneath is a spare propane cylinder.

I'll trade you an 03 Saturn Vue for it.

I wish more were posted. I'm completely intrigued by the idea. Just not popular enough up here to see them up close.

Having a truck and a trailer to pull those hogs is the biggest part. Then traveling to up state or another state? I guess I'm just trying to get someone to build the cheap to build, babychain fwd single seater.

I live bare minimum 2 and a 1/2 hours away from any of this activity. If anybody knows these guys please posts pictures up. If I lived closer you would know what there mail box looked like. I'm Obsessed with big buggys. I just feel like 400 horsepower or better is the way to go. I want a drag car with a suspension that works! I wanna be going fast enough to flip up the hill and still make it.

you need to be in touch with passat2800.. saw him do that exact same thing on grass hill in the wedge, it was scarey to watch but awesome at the same time  he was further up the hill when it landed than he was when it started over backwards  8)

wow! Reno. you remember that. That is what I have been trying to tell people. You can put an old wo' out Evinrude with an electric choke strapped to the front bumper and when your stub axles push under your frame, ALL that extra weight up front can work against holding the front end down.SO if they don't lower their floor with a w/c motor, then run baby chains or like the Passat. I could not figure out why I'd flip easier WITH a passenger in that tandem seat buggy. My seat was way up in the windshield back then with two 3/8" 14"x30" iron plates for a bumper. I could not grab an instant grip or it was GAME OVER...TILT.

The usual issue with buggies, add some weight and you reduce the anti-squat on the rear suspension.

For all the guys asking about how a Chaindrive would do on the highway. Fast farward to 3:05. He's hauling BALLS ten foot off the ground and landing and keeps trucking. Looks like you could ride down the highway to me. 8)
