If you was going to build an Ecotec, what frame would you use?

2 seat, 100" or shorter wheel base.

I can't decide on these 3...
Berrien Warrior (cheapest if bought as a knockdown) $367
Berrien Classic 2100 (Has "extra tool space" which I may need for radiator/computer/extra stuff needed for Ecotec) $667
Berrien Stalker (Looks the coolest from the start, cockpit moved forward which would help offset weight) $696

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

I plan on starting out building a street ready 1600 with everything else beefed up, then as more money becomes available, I will add the ecotec next year, and a 6rib.
But, If I decide to build it myself, I would like to start with the best frame for the money I can, especially if I am putting a lot of money into it.

Still searching Samba and Craigslist for a good buy on a starter buggy, but If I don't find one by mid-end of summer, I will begin building my own.

While I wait, might aswell spec out one if I was to build it. I got the Buggy Bug and am pretty hooked.

Thanks, Evan

warrior is the best bang for your buck. Ecotec and all the trimmings fit nicely in this frame too.

Is there a site for Predator frames? Or is it just by call?

Whooo, those are a lot more than the Berrien ones.

I think I'm either going to go with the Stalker or the Warrior

Keep in mind I believe the Predator price is with a torsion, all the tabs, shift box, tree bars, race brace, x brace bumper and about anything else you would need. All these things add up quickly on a berrian.
