 Post subject: 3x3 arm Q?

guys i know this is going to sound stupid but< i dont know. 3x3 - what exactly does that mean...3" wider and 3'' longer? if so does that mean that if you have a frame that is 100" WB stock that if you use these 3x3 trailing arms it becomes 103" WB????? thank you Jim :?

The width allows you to run wheels with 5" backspace & take stress off the stub axle bearings & the length transfers weight forward & gives you the ability to climb much steeper hills without going over backwards as well as adding additional ground clearance.

Ok guys i am just learning also so how do the angles change on the axle shafts and what do you do to correct that.

Use 930 CVs and axles. Leave the angles alone. The only way to correct the angles is move the engine/Trans back. Not worth the hassel for 3 x 3. It also defeats part of the reason to use 3x3 arms. Moving weight ahead of the wheel centerline.
