What are your guys thoughts on these what's the better route I have king coilovers on my current buggy and love the ride but for the price my other buggy might get air . Anybody have problems with air shock overheating or any other issuses ? Thanks. |

While I feel air shocks are a perfectly good option, and I run them myself, the coilover will always be superior. This is my opinion and I have not ran good coilovers like Fox or King either. Air shocks are awesome for the price but they do come with there quarks too. They have some "stiction", so if you turn they want to lean a little until you correct it the other way a little. They squat pretty good under hard acceleration if your buggy is heavy in the back end. I'd go with the 2.5 air shocks in the rear for sure, although a light buggy is perfectly fine with 2.0. It's personal preference and only you know what you like. Hard to beat the price of air bags or air shocks. |

I prefer coil overs on all 4 corners. I would at least run the coil overs on the rear and FOX airs on the front. If coilovers are too expensive then my second option would be air bags and good emulsions. |

i was going to use the racerunner runner air shocks but now im seriously considering these when i start on my buggy, they are a air shock with threaded body for the coilovers, it seems tuneability would be unlimited between the nitrogen and the coilovers together  http://www.foxracingshox.com/product.ph ... ref=filter |

I have 2.0 air shocks that i use together with the stock torsion bars. It's adjustability cheap and easy

I have king coils on the rear, and fox air shox on the front. I can certainly notice a fade after some riding on the air shocks. I think if you wanting to save some bucks on the front suspension, air shocks will work fine, but personally would not be very interested in having them on the rear. I have never had air bags but think I would go that route the next time if the option was between going with air shox or bags. Coilovers are heavier, but superior! |

I run airbags, with shocks that are 10yrs old....wore out and garbage. Guess what? it rides amazing.  although I got some new shocks finally...so cheap sometimes lol

Go air bag with a rancho beside it.The tires stay on the ground so that they don't slip a grip and veeery good ride.And air them up to your liking! I've got a pile of old shocks and coils . They are the best thing to have if you run a trot line.And Pabst Blue Ribbon is the best beer if you want to loosen some old lug nuts. |
