Im not sure i will be much help but when i rolled and bent my right front trailing arm i had to r and r...i noticed that the stack of bars had 2 bars that were smaller..one of them was on top,the other on the bottom of the stack..when i was putting the new trailing arm on i had a hard time getting the bars lined up to seat in the trailing arm..I cleaned the end of the stack with some carb cleaner and put a spot of super glue between each bar and clamped them with a pair of vise-grips.after letting set till the next evening i removed the vise-grips carefullly(vise-grips dont need to be super tight) and coated with grease then VERY carefully put trailing arm on in the 1st shot..I wouldnt worry about the glue..once the bars flex the first time it will break loose and shouldnt cause a problem as long as it was just a spot of glue and not a bunch.with that being said,,are the bars stacked in the right order?..does the beam have adjusters?if so,,remove the set screw all the way?..just some ideas :wink:Oh..and were both the beams the same length?

Another way to hold them together is to wrap the leafs with a heavy rubber band about an inch or so from the end. That will keep them together while your poking them through. Make sure your center set screw is all the way backed out too.
