i could not figure out how to pull just the pic of the front adjusters for ya but there is a few pics for ya .
i used a pipe cutter and cut the top beam first ,the cutter would not spin all the way so i finished it with a hack saw then clocked them 3/8 of a inch ( most people go 1/4 inch ) i wanted more leverage because of the front arms we built .
then headed for the bottum beam .
oh yea i pulled the front end apart before i did it
the only problem i had was those stupid arse red poly bushing i had to ream !

I use mine to stiffen the front when it got a little soft. But I would guess you could make it to where they will soften it. Is it a stock beam? What bushings are you using?

You missed the jr. in my name, bryan! Haha.
Me and Scott got my bearings and bushings out of my front end before I had it powdercoated. But you'll probably want to grind on them red bushings pretty good where they go in the beam, and where the arm slides into them. Make it where you don't have to force the bushings in at all, and don't have to force the arm in. 8)

Go to autozone n get the cheapest shocks they carry for a '65 beetle. They are already "REVALVED " just right for a single seater. For about $25 a pair and you can get brand new ones for free anytime you want.

I just bought a set for my wife's buggy, about 1 month ago. Just do like Larry said, all they need is the year and model #.
