I'm gettin' ready to do the rear w/ the longer than stock shocks.
I've been looking at these:



I'm not going to run duals, I've got some old shock mounts from a truck lift, as well as some 1/4 plate laying around.

Has anybody built their own (for swing axle) as a weld on?
If so, any pics?
I figure free beats thirty bucks. I've got some ideas, but more ideas are better.
Will I have an issue cooking anything in the axle tube if I don't tear it down?
Can I combo say one bolt and weld to the spring plate?
(doing the top is a none issue, I'm ready for that part).

I will be going IRS down the road, but that may be a ways down the road.

Mine were flat and I welded in tube bungs to hold the shock bolts. I'll see if I can find a picture.
