Just like an open cockpit race car. Centrally mounted on each side of you. They are basically a tether to keep your arms in the vehicle in the event of a crash.

crow makes a wrist restraint that looks like it would work well. it laces through your lap belts and is fully adjustable.

what about a window net like richard hilborn had on his blue one seater?

seems like a more driver friendly option (for a buggy anyways) to me but thats just my opinion

yes but you can still grab the top bar through the holes they are basically to keep your arms from being thrown outside the vehicle , arm restraints will stop you from grabbing an outside bar , i bought me & ben a pair last week , i have plenty of room to use my cutting brake & gear shifter , as well as plenty of slack for steering , i really like the extra piece of mind they give with my new seat as well as the safty factor , the net only fastens from front to back , not at the top , this will not prevent you from unconsousily grabbing a bar to brace yourself , just my 2 cents !!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

I thought about them after this roll. If you look close you can see my arm fly out when I hit the first tree.

The flat braided window nets work fairly well, we use to run those before we made some doors (best thing we ever fitted tbh)
