We had planned to go Sunday to "reserve" a good spot with a tent and just pay for the whole week but the lady on the phone said we could not do that.

Thinking that it's going to get crowded due to the limited space I thought maybe we exchange names, phone numbers and buggy style & color, pull-vehicle model / color so that if it turns out if there is someone that needs to squeeze into a "campsite" they could give one of us a buzz? I suggested the vehicles as well since cell phone reception is so spotty out there. At least that way it wouldn't be so weird? maybe? I'm just not that good with people.

Everyone in my group will be showing up Saturday Morning... 3 buggys.

Nick, blue std 2 seat buggy (six-one-five) five-one-six three-six-zero-six
Mike, 90s ford diesel pickup, flat bed, yellow equippment trailer. red & rust 2 seat buggy, 4wheeler, dirtbike
Darryl +1 , white GMC yukon - 4wheelers
Bruce+ 1, 90s teal blue chevy 3500 pickup, black std 2 seat buggy
Scott, 1980s fugly ford pickup (unless something's changed), 4wheelers
Brett, 4wheeler

Well good to see some will be at LBL Memorial Day weekend.....we're planning to come over probably Sat. My old woods buggy hadn't been started in 2-3 years and my son-in-law got bored and fired it up. I wasn't keen on the idea but it started. Mice ran everywhere but it went. I told him I was gonna go in my street buggy Sat the creek and visit with Larry (Gate keeper there) and he said he wanted to take buggy. I sold his OR buggy a while back because he is fooling with drag racing now and not many interested. Gosh I used to spend a lot of time there 20-30+ years ago. He's gonna clean out carb and tune it some. She shud b so happy. I haven't been on this sight in a while but if you need anything go talk to Larry Nanney at gate. He's old like me (60) but he will help you. Break something and he can steer you in right direction. We have a friend just across bridge in Aurora that will help you. also one of the best vw mechs and fabber there ever was. He is having major sight problems and limited in his work. (Shop at house) If anyone is interested I have some 19.25 I think chrome moly axles and some 2/2 arms that I may sell. I have a street buggy that they were on and we put stock on it because of tire wear. If u see an old fart tooling around in parking lots in a brown buggy with a small couch in back for grand kis, give me a holler. Tell Larry at gate I said to give him a hard time......He's a great guy......George

Nasty habits- I met you at D & K when we were talking to Chuck Jones, by my buggy. Hoping to do some riding with you and your bunch and maybe you can teach me some tricks to hill climbing since I'm new to it. Looking forward to seeing you there. Hope to be there Thurs. evening or early Fri. morn.

West KY George - Looking forward to meeting you and yours at T.Bay this weekend. I'll be in the weird looking buggy with hoops over the engine. We're pretty new to T. Bay and know there used to be alot of buggies there, looking forward to seeing alot coming back.
See you there !!!

Looks like we're planning on hooking up with racefreak saturday morning. Are there limits for persons per campsite? It might be best if you buy a tag or the site next to yours and we'll pay you back when we get there. I'll call on Thurs or Friday to see how it looks. So far the weather looks good for saturday and sunday but t-storms on Monday, maybe the front will slow down and hopefully it won't speed up!

no person limit, 15 for a 3 day pass per vehicle,8 per nite to camp 2 tent per camp site... or 65 for a season pass! that is what we do,it pays for itself pretty quick

well crap, the forcast has changed a bit, now it's scattered t-storms friday thru monday with 30% chance of rain each day & night. Guess it could be worse... I know it was super wet last year. I was camping down in in the Piney campgrounds w/ wife's friends and went to go hang out w/ "the guys" one day between showers.
