Most buggies I've seen (including my own) have a vent line coming out of the top of thier fuel cell/ gas tank, up to the roof and back down to the bottom. I was reading the SCORE rulebook and they want the vent line to run out of the tank, wrap underneth the tank, then all the way around the tank then up to the roof and back down. Look at your own buggy, if you flipped and stopped in any position, would you dump fuel out of the vent? Even with a tip-valve if you flipped on your side, I'm not too sure that it would stop fuel from running out. I'm just lookin for some ideas for the woods buggy, because I don't think it would go over too good if I rolled it with my son in the back and dumped fuel out all over him :? Just lookin for ideas.

I do not have a vent on my tank. The Caps are vented. Yea I have 2, one on each end of the tank.

If you run the vent line down before going up whats is to stop fuel from sloshing into the line & sitting there blocking the vent line?? Thats the same reason I dont like the coiled hard line on top of the cell. A simple UP & DOWN keeps the vent clear.

What about an inline check valve too? Not needed?
