I heard a rumor last night that the guy who bought the land at Richland Furnace is doing some work to it and is going to reopen it. I do not know how true it is but I really hope it is true because it is so close to home. :D

If hes talking about the 1 here by my house that would be great its a real good ride.i live in southern ohio on the river and that place is in south webster about 15 mins for me.

I think hes talking about the 1 in Vinton Co south of McArthur and north of Wellston Ohio on sr93,,,1 of my old stompin grounds,a lumber co bought it and gated it because some jackass's tore up some of there equipment! theres a 4x4 club working to get them to open it when there done logging,,I hope it happens

Yea, I am talking about the one in Vinton County. The girl who told me they are going to reopen it goes there with her hubby in a 4x4. I never knew the reason they closed it but from your post I see that a few people can ruin it for everyone.
