Hi Guys
I am new here and fixing to build me a new buggy. I had buggies back in the 80's.
1 single seater Rabbit frame and ran a couple of 50 & 100 mile races in middle Georgia.
Also had a woods buggy with bus reduction boxes and a 1500 motor. I bought both buggies already built just added motors and I was raceing,
Now 25 years later and with a family I want a 4 seater Beeline Pack Rat. I am going to have Tony build it in the next couple of weeks. I just bought a 1979 bus for motor and tranny. Older age and size seys I want suspention seats extra wide. Any thoughts on what brand? Beards that much better for the money compaired to Race trim???
Any other brands you like?? I am going with a warrior 6" wider front KP beam with reagular arms until I can afford to up grade to longer ones. Going IRS bus in the rear with 2x3 arms. This buggy is going to be street legal
But going to have Tony shorten it to about 96-98" to get around in the woods and mountains better, this one is normaly 106". Going with double head, windsheald, and rear bars and tree bars.
I don't have much money but have GUNS to trade so anyone haveing parts that I will need and like to trade let me know what you have.
Well thanks for listening guys look to hear from you.

Welcome to the site. If you got a big 50BMG I'll trade you a lot of stuff.

Welcome to the site!!
Never had any Beard seats, but the racetrims are very comfortable and fairly durable. Drawback is they put you 4-6" closer to the roof than a poly or Kirkey.

Welcome. Just my two cents, dont know how you fellas ride down there, but if it was me i would leave the extra lenght on the buggy. We climb where i ride and short is not the answer. Just my two cents.

I see you made it here. I have Racecraft and Beard seats. Beard Seats ae made in Ca while Race Trim are made in China. Pro Seatz are made in the Az and are comparable in price to Race Trim. Wider and taller than standard seats are available from most seat builders. Make sure you have enough room for the seats before you shorten it. Racecraft.com has the standard dimensions listed on thier web site.
