I ordered a bypass filter pump for my rail and it arrived today. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between flat and dished cam? The pump looks different than the one that came out of it. I'll try to upload a pic of the cam and post the link.

1970 and earlier along with most aftermarket cams are flat and have 3 bolts/rivets holding the gear on.
Late stock and a very few aftermarket are dished with 4 bolts/rivets holding the gear on.
Whoever sold you that pump should have asked.
Your picture looks like a late cam.
