Been kicking around trying it. I know a few others already have.
Ive read it may need app. 30% larger jets, and "E85 safe" fuel line.
Also heard E85 has a short life in the tank compared to race fuel
Anyone been running it in the woods, in an AC engine, that may have any more tips?

I know Kevin Hyde runs it in his 2xx0 cc air cooled racebuggy. The enginge was dyno tuned on race fuel then switched to e-85 while still on the dyno and rejetted. I am pretty sure it made exactly the same power as race fuel. we sat there with a jet drill and kept opening up the jets. When he is done for the weekend, he pulls the fuel line off and sticks it into a gas can and lets it idle till it clearly runs out of e85. That's about all I know

Thanks. I've heard it's a good idea to do that, due to corrosive nature of it. I am not really looking for more power from it, just Ike the way engines stay so clean that run it, the fact that that it lowers engine temps, and to get away from the inconvenience and price of race fuel.

I have been running E85 in my A/C EFI buggy for 3 years now with zero problems. I have not drained my fuel system and the fuel tank sits all winter with E85. You will use more fuel with E85 but it is still cheaper than race fuel and smells good too. 8) I use the Gates Fuel Injection hose with green writing, it is safe for all fuels and should be available at any auto parts store.
Good Luck
Kenric

The Napa dealer said any fuel line and evap hose they sell today is compatibly with E85. What is sold as fuel injection hose can take higher pressure also.
