i was thinking the same thing as matt so for what its worth i did a search and found this fwiw
1.5 x .095 dom and hrew are both the same weight but dom is almost twice as strong and right at $1 more per foot
also did a little math, while ive never built a buggy frame im guessing there is around 100ft of 1.5 tubeing which calculates to 17 bs difference between using .095 vs .083, and .120 wall would be 34.3 lbs more than the .095 and would be 51.3 lbs more than .083
