While I was looking for an older rail buggy frame to buy, I stumbled across this facebook page. I thought it was really cool.

Makes you want to see woodsbuggies of this era, if anybody has some old pics feel free to post them. I think its awesome to see how things have evolved over the years.

I'm glad that you guys enjoyed those photos!

Here is a cool youtube slide show about "Dune Buggies Inc.", does anyone know anything about this place?
The guy that posted the video has a lot of other dune buggy videos on youtube, I wonder if he is a member of Woodsbuggy?

its in kentucky off ky17 close to the junction with 491..... its a private "club". been there for 30 yrs maybe. they have a couple open rides every year. wrongwayray and bige70chev were members. its like 180 a yr. must have insurance and you can ride anytime and get a key. can even build a permanent camp. gotta cross a creek to get in(which is no big deal even in a lil car. unless it rains. creek flash floods pretty quick) they have a facebook page also. i dont really like to ride there personally.... too small and its not my type of terrain. parts of it are like driving on 6in limestone someone dumped out a dumptruck... lol.. but ray and e like it soooo.... to each their own...

its a pretty cool spot...they have had some changes over the last few years with the people that run it and our group doesnt seem to get along with everyone else....200 a year, and you have to be voted in after going on an open ride...access 24/7 365....its rough and rocky but if you have a capable buggy and a little bit of driving ability, youll get around just fine...150 acres few good hills, big field and a creek to play in

Cool photo Rick! I think that it is cool to see how far things have come.
Do you have any old photos of early woodsbuggies?

I was recently talking to a friend who used to build railbuggies back in the 1970's and 1980's, he built at least 30 buggies from scratch, and never took any pictures. He is still looking for his old tubing bender for me though!!!
