I think this is how you spell it not sure though anyways picked a bunch of vw stuff up and these heads were in one of the boxes. They look to have bigger valves and dual valve springs and i was thinking on putting them on my 1915 any pros or cons with these also will i need to upgrade my push rods and rockers i am pretty sure i have chromoly push rods in it now with stock rockers but in the package deal we got i also got 4 new sets of scat rockers still in package and will stock rocker arms work or will they need upgraded also

most likely your pushrods will work if they are not stock/aluminum and i have never had a problem with stock rockers but i always run solid shafts, as far as the heads post some pics or at least any casting numbers

I have only seen 2 sets of these heads, but I could not believe that a head could crack that bad. Both sets had huge cracks between the spark plug and exhaust valve on each cylinder. Maybe yours are better but that has been my experience.

Well i was all set to throw these heads on this week and put a set of scat rockers in since i have 4 or 5 new sets lying around but when i put them in the parts washer to start cleaning them up there was a big as crack from where the push tube seats at clean up to the exhaust valve   so i guess scratch that idea it looks like some one was doing some serious prying due to the cooling fins on the head bent and broke outwards back to looking for another set i guess
