My brother and I will be there. We both have yellow buggies. I will most likely arrive Friday.

are they gonna let us camp there this year?

I know they have the last couple of years but they claimed once the contruction was done on 68 they would go back to the old way and make us camp somewhere else.

i MAY try and make this trip, what DECENT places (no camping) are left to stay in up there?

i know the early american was a rat hole when we used to go to lbl, and cedar lane was closed down the last couple of trips we made

the ken lake resort had some decent cabins the best i remember (cant recall what the cost was), but the only time we stayed there was on the last trip we made, but have never stayed in the "hotel" part however they did have a kick ass breakfast bar downstairs :D

i think aboone stayed in arora at a hotel, its not far from there. if you did want to camp you cauld camp down buy us rite on the lake. its rocky but if you have a air mattres you would be fine. my nephew bobby did that and said he was real comfortable. we took a bath in the lake to save water in the motor home and the water in there felt like bath water and the weather should be nice. i hope you do come ride with us its gonna be a blast. bring some others with you, the more the better.

i dont intend to camp untill i hit the lottery and get me one them big ole tour bus type motorhomes lol

i was thinking it was benton or aurora one was where the places we used to stay at were located, we crossed over the 2nd bridge and took a right at the split in the road and there were like 3 or 4 different places to stay along with a "general" store and 1 or 2 restaraunts, i was just wanting to figure out what was still open and maybe some contact info to make some reservations if i get to make it

im trying to get a few locals to come up with me but they wont commit to anything

I am still trying to work things out.. I will have my 3 year old and 8 year old all weekend. I am thinking of spending Saturday at Nashville and then going to LBL all day Sunday.
