I did n't want to have to mess with octain boosters. So I kept compression at 9.25:1 and use premium 91 octain pump gas.

I also run my 2276 with 8.5:1 comp and use pump gas...

At $4.00 a gallon, I am now driving my buggy to work since the buggy get better gas mileage than the jeep..

I figured I'd run this new engine til winter and then get a set of new long barrels and drop the compression back down to about 9.1 or something to run pump+. but I sure like the smell of it lol.Chad

my 2275 at about 9:5:1 compression ratio likes the 93 pump gas with octane boost.

Where I am, regular costs $1.25.9 a liter for regular. I hear some places are about $1.40, so thats' a good price. A liter is close to a quart. Right now our dollar is worth more, and that still makes it about $5.40 a gallon for regular. I run premium.

I run the AV gas to. I like it because of how clean it burns and lower price.
