My 6.0 has 48k on it and at 44k the injector seals started to go and I still need to get it into the shop. I had an oil leak, the week I brought it home brand new, from an oil line that feeds the turbo. The leak is fixed and now I just need the seals. I really like the 7.3 in my '99 better but the '05 and newer trucks have the coil suspension and drive and steer so much better it makes up for the engine. I'm patiently waiting for the new "Ford" diesel that is supposed to be released in '10 or '11. I also think the newer transmission behind the 6.0 is far better than the one they ran with the 7.3.

Kyle, I'm working on it, I could buy one right now, but am just going to wait until mine sells, don't see the point in paying insurance on two trucks... right. haha But, no, like I said 7.3's are reliable rigs, for the most part, everything has it's downfalls and highpoints, i was more raggin the 6.0s  ..... and fortydegnorth, the torque shift behind the 6.0's is a damn smooth tranny... Hey, Kyle, I love you.

The biggest problems with people using their trucks in a tug-of-war is that once the first truck spins its tires all the other truck gotta do is barely give it gas and just pull it along. I have seen these in person many times and many different people operate their trucks differently, I have seen chevy beat ford, ford beat chevy, dodge beat chevy, dodge beat ford and vise versa. I have also seen a dually got beat by a half-ton truck, but WTH?

Last night at National Trails my truck went 15.2 @ 89.85mph. Pretty good for a work truck haha all the numbers crunched it looks as I am in the 350-375RWHP range.....with lots of torque hooraa

Stock 7.3 with a fuel box, air system, and straight pipe.
