thanks guys, after talking to dvs and stevo and doing a little research on diesel trucks, i'm glad i made the switch. the power and torque will be appreciated when towing the buggy not to mention the mileage factor. i had 103000 on my 3 year old yukon/denali. 103 is nothing to a diesel. want to get a tuner and play around a bit. its not air cooled..........hope i don't make any enemies for that

hey steve where did your "O" go

a guy i work with has an 07 duramax(slant eye body style), and is running a PPE tuner box, he switched from an edge juice box and likes it wayyy more. just a suggestion for when you decide to get one. diesel is my next truck, but i couldnt pass up the deal on my current gasser.

[quote='Chaindrive Rail']"Allison transmission" In Holmer Simpson's stairing at do-nuts voice.

Damn that's nice. I'm a Chevy man and switching to Allison was the best thing they could have done. Allison's are simple and strong. Dare I say "bullit proof?" Congrats on the new truck.

thanks curt, the ally's bullet proof until you add a tuner 8)
