Yeah... It was a piss poor year as far as wheeling goes, but I kept busy. I also built a "New New Haspin Hauler" as well last year I will post pics of it later. |

What engine in the 66 GTA? My all time favorite car is a 66 Fairlane 500 with a 427 in it. Great looking cars! Nice to see another Ford person, Seems like the majority likes the GM products Kids....haha. I built a '64 Ford F-100 Step side with a 292 Y block in it and 3 on the tree when I was a junior in highschool. Ive always had Ford trucks. |

390/C6 in the '66 GTA (all original drivetrain). The '67 Ranchero is in the process of getting a 428CJ that is balanced and blueprinted with edelbrock aluminum heads and intake and FAST fuel injection and it is getting hooked to a 31spline close ratio top loader from an SCJ Torino. Still sourcing parts for the Ranchero. I will add more pics of the work on it shortly. Turns out an engine that was made for 2 years can be a little hard to find parts for... and the parts that are easy to find are usually more expensive than the hard to find ones. 64 F100 with a mystery shifter sounds like a fun truck. I learned to drive stick with a 3 on the tree flat nose econoline. I think my dad's theory was between the wore out shifter linkage and the wore out steering linkage the actual clutch part of the ordeal would become the easy part....
