I just got off the phone with badlands in Indiana. I was recently told by someone at a Haspin ride that we can now take our buggies to Badlands. So I called, its still a no go. There were several reasons.
1. The trails arn't wide enough, Yet fullsize trucks can fit?
2. They are not 4 wheel drive, either are most of the 4 wheelers out there or motorcycles.
3. Because of the tires we run, this one kinda stumped me, I guess its better if you have to spin your tires more?
Oh well, Its a further drive for me and I don't remember it being any better then haspin. Not to mention tons of quads and bikes flying around and I was on a quad with my daughter on her bike, lol.
Just wanted to let anyone know who was thinking about it.

Their loss,,parks that don't allow buggys are only hurting themselve's. It also gives them dust stirrers a place to ride so we don't have to listen to so much of that irritating noise and breath so much of the dust they stir up. No offense to those that ride 4 wheelers that are considerate of others.

That place is a joke,it wouldnt be worth the time to take a buggy there haspin is 100 times more fun, there is also redbird state riding area south of there that will allow buggies, you need a state sticker(or something like that)but looks like a good place havent been there personally

I went to badlands once on my quad, it was ok, but at the same drive and money I have more fun and challenges at Haspin. If I owned a rock crawler maybe, or wanted to race up 80 feet of sand dunes that are to crowded to be fun. Not to mention the hours suck and you pay extra to camp off site. Its cheeper to go to wellsville at twice the drive then Badlands for the weekend. And it's not even a close comparison.
