Anybody here been to the Turkey Run at Morehead for Thanksgiving? I went in 2001 and met Eric Debord up there. What an awesome place. I have been wanting to go back ever since and I have never made it. Now that I have a very capable buggy, I really want to go back. There are some monster hills up there. Some of the biggest ones I have ever seen in the entire mid-atlantic region.

I have never gone but Brett talks about it every year. They did have it at Rush Ky. But I heard it moved back to the old location.

That looks like alot of buggies. Most buggies I have seen in one place in a long time. We had a drag race and obstacle course that had about that many buggies show up. Looks like fun though.

WOODS BUGGIES!! Did you say WOODS BUGGIES, sounds like the place we should be at. Lets try to organize a members day along with the Turkey Run. I have a guy that I can probably get Tshirts from at a decent price.

Here is a video from the area where the turkey run is held. It is the Friday after Thanksgiving. Generally people start showing up at daylight and leave well after dark. There are several places to park, you can make the few mile ride into the area that most people do or, you can trailer your buggy to really close to the beginning of the hills. If anyone is interested in going you can email me ( khaney01@alltel.net ) for directions or to meet up and trailer over there together. There is usually several hundred people there, 40-50 buggies, and uncountable numbers of atvs.
