Looking at moving to this area if a job comes through in a few months. Looks like the mountains are near by but cant find any parks. Anyone know of areas to ride? I hate to move to another place where I still have no place to ride in 5 hrs.

Contact Immortal soul 219, or Hunter. They are both from that region of Pa., I assume you were talking about Philly, Pa. I used to live in Pa. and most of our riding was " OUTLAW ", but there was plenty of it and plenty of people doing it. We never really ran into any problems. There is only one PARK I know of in Hazelton area, but I think you had to be a member. Those guys would probably be able to give you the best " Current " info, since I moved away from there about 7 years ago. But we sure had lots of great areas while I was there. Hope this helps.

You'll be at least the same distance from Wellsville, too far.

Yup good riding up there. They are logging like crazy up there though. Then I guess they plan on mining more.

Look at St. Clair, that's the closest to me. 1.5 hrs north then its another 45 min or so to Trevorton. St Clair is mostly trail with some moderate sized hills I have been up there at least 10 times and have barely scratched the surface, I have been to Trevorton once and can't wait to go back. Trevorton has everything. When you ride in either you r supposed to have a pass, its $125 for the year and that grants u full access to Reading Anthracite Coal company property. if u go to their web page don't be discouraged by all the rules, just register your tow vehicle and u should be good. They only want money so the lawyer said well judge they signed the waiver sheet and they were fully aware of the rules. When I went to Trevorton it was a drunk/camping fest, two nonos. I have been going to St. Clair for the past year and have barely seen a soul. I live about an hour west of Philly. So U got a buddy if u make it out this way.... :D
I am currently turboing my 1600 and running propane, i just put v-cleats on with dirt track beadlocks, so I should hopefully be ready for the upcoming season... Hell come on over Imortal 8)

If Trevorton is only a drunk/camping fest, I wouldn't want to go there either :? .... Now if it was a drunk/riding/camping fest count me in! :P
