There are only about 11 miles of trails, but they are good in my opinion. 1 very steep "Hill Climb " Another BIG BAD TRAIL called "Blue Rock " 2 parking areas, and 2 camp areas. Not super crowded either.

it is closed from December 1st to March 1st I think. Why I do not know? Last year I went up there to ride in January and that is what the sign at the gate said.

Since it is closed; D&K is open year around so come up there and play, they have trails from MILD TO WILD, EASY TO EXTREAM. Not to mention some of the best people you will ever meet.

I just checked the site and it shows OPEN. They don't close until the first monday in January according to the site.
Bruce , one day I'd like to make it up to D&K , but thats one hell of a ride for a weekend of riding , then with gas over $3 a gallon it just does'nt seem like a wise desicion to me, but thank you for the invitation.

Just trying to answer some questions that Rock rockets & Buggymethis had about "Beasley Knob" in Blairsville , Georgia.
I'm sure D&K is a great place with many fine people. I hope to make it up there one day.
