Hey Guys,
Me and a nd a few guys are looking for a good place to ride in Alabama. Were planning our ride the weekend of Febuary 17th. Were coming out of Georgia so Eastern Alabama would be GREAT. We will be looking to Camp and have plenty to ride for 3 full days. Any suggestions????

Hi. Fultondale and Choccollocco are the best, but the reason we have rode here for the 4th decade is we respect the local people and company land.If you run bolts, go easy on our climbs. But any way we will be glad to see yall then. There is a Flying J truck stop (propane, resturant and $5 showers) a 1/2 mile away and a Days inn 2 miles.Great camping out here.Several old rock quarries to fish in.An Autozone 2 miles.Great BBQ(Dearman's) off Daniel Payne(3miles) on hwy 78 west.Adkins grocery 1/2 mile. Beer except b4 12noon sunday. And by all means come prepared. Extra parts, ropes, chain saw, folding chairs, old burnt motor oil for fires, plenty of old car tires out here.111 racing fuel is off I-65N in N. Bhm., about 2-1/2 miles.$6.99/gal.But watch out for Cedric's friends. What scale of riding are yall looking for.

Well we usually ride Coal Creek but I've just recently built a new rail and were looking for something closer than a 4 hour ride. A few of us are looking for anything challenging but we have a few guys that are trail riders. So for our group were looking for more of a good trail system. Is there rv hookups at either site?

Where in GA are you from? I am just north of Atlanta in Roswell. I have been to Choccolocco and Morris Mountain. They are both great places but they are no where near the size of coal creek.

I have never been to Fultondale but I hear they have some great hills.

there is also mountainside offroad park that is not too far from choccoloco and along with morris mountain would probably be the closest to georgia (that i know of anyways) as far as pay to ride parks that might have any kind facilities such as hookups, restrooms, concesions, etc.....

Choccolocco Mountain Off Road Park - Jacksonville, Al. http://www.choccoloccomountain.com/

Mountainside Offroad Park - Gadsden, Al. http://www.mountainsideoffroadpark.com/

Morris Mountain ORV - Delta, Al. http://www.morrismountainorv.com/
