I blew up a 65 gear reduction with a 1500. They say 67 is the strongest with a big axle nut.The trans is still an old beetle.I am almost thru with a 2 wheel on each side chain drive. Let's see how that turns out. Some go , some blo, we'll know, this week end. Thanks |

Get some chains n sprockets, gear reduction is pure junk for serious offroading from what I've always heard. A kid that used to come into the import shop I worked at had someone put them under a baja for him. Pretty mild 1641, and he had lots of troubles out of them. |

Like Larry said, I have not heard any thing positive about them. Some of the negatives are wheel bounce and casting breakage. |
