i bought the empi kit busted 3 cv's seems that the metal is soft in the 930 center coller i was running 1641 when i busted them i havent had any problems out of the german lobros

You talkin about the cage? (the thin piece in the middle with the slotted holes where the balls ride) If so, I think you can buy race cages that are stronger. I know they make 'moly cages for T2 joints. Sucks that you would need to, though. Shouldnt have to for the price of t

not the cage the splined center i took the axels apart to clean &regrease ifound one with stress marks and cracks

My dad put a new compleate kit with empi joints purchased on ebay the first ride we busted 3 center sections and cages. And replaced all 4 of them with GKN with race preped balls and molly cages and have not been able to bust them yet THE FIRST JOINT BROKE WHILE GRABBING 2ND GEAR ON LEVEL GROUND AND EVERY ONE KNOWS WE DON'T RUN MORE THAN ABOUT 12 DEG AND IT IS LIMITED AT ABOUT 17 DEG OUR BUGGY IS SET UP WITH ABOUT 1.5 IN OF SAG

i hope i get a good set never have had much trouble with cv broke one cv in 7 years in the woods wasnt real sure how to change it luckly there were people with me that were experts at changing them hope my luck carries on with my brand new set of junk EMPI they have to be stronger than bus cv don"t they ?

I would think so. With your good luck with cv's, they'll be fine forever.

Very funny about "someone" being an expert at changing cv's :x !
It aint my fault I had a banana torsion and broke 11 bus joints in one year and didnt know any better back then. :roll: :lol:
(I was too lazy to cut out the torsion and replace it on my old 2seater! Dont think I broke too many after I finally did it , though!)
