Today was a good day, I scored 2 almost new v-tread 31/15.5-5 tires mounted on chrome rims, 40mm carb with intake, set of rear brakes, 2 seat covers (pristine condition), 2x baja claws tires 32-12.5-15 (20-25% left), 4 puk clutch, dp heads, external oil cooler kit, generator, set of stock pistons, etc etc for $320.

great deal but watch out for hidden metal particles in an oil cooler after a motor has blown up or stripped cam gears etc. Hopefully a filter caught it all if it had one.

Yeah, I should be fine but I may buy a new cooler. The deal came with a complete motor with the 40mm carb. The pistons are like new (92mm). The block is a goner and had probably 1/8" play at the crank. Has good lifters, cam, and 041 heads that bench tested good (no leaks). Looked like the engine was not driven a lot, needed a align bore really bad and had a .030 crank that most likely I won't be touching. I rather go with a new forged crank.
