i was there and sounds like a rod knocking when the trans is in gear even when its sitting still . when its not in gear no knock.

when you find out whats wrong with it please post on here. i have a buddy thats got one doing the same thing so he changed his trans and moter but used the pressure plate and throwout bearing on the new moter and now it sounds like it knocking also |

Did you check the needle barings on the gland nut? And if its not that look to see if the pressure plate and the throw out baring mach up because there is a old and a new style. Hope that helps before you buy a new tranny |

yea travor was drag racing when the tranny broke. It was fine before that tho. |
