Mr Sawyer, how many sets do you plan on donating to the woodsbuggy site? In order to advertise you must be a paid advertiser, and as far as I know you are not. I paid to advertise my parts here you haven't, time to put up or shut up. |

Understand were you are coming from mike and this is really not my place to say anything but Jeremy has donated a set of arms in the past for the woodsbuggy party to be raffled and is making a set to be raffled at the hillclimb in wellsville . He has never asked for anything back but to be able to post some of his arms on here for sale when he can make them on his spare time . Also , Way back when dean was around Jeremy asked dean permission to sell some on here and permission was granted . Just wanted to clarify so their was no hard feelings . Jason |

I paid to advertise my parts here you haven't, time to put up or shut up. Under the board index it says..... Parts, Parts, & More Parts Any parts for buggies you may have for sale may be advertised here. Instructions to post from Firebug say... Please follow this list: 1. Make sure your profile shows your location, and show location in the ad. 2. Post pictures if at all possible. Post price. 3. List a phone number that you will answer or an email address you will answer. 4. Be prepared to have your ad deleted if you don't follow these directions. Too many ads don't list location, or answer reply's. Am I missing something here? |

I think you should have your location mandatory to be a member, especially if your trying to sell something.hate to try and guess where stuffs located.running a business through classified section and selling some parts is two different things IMO.I never seen anything wrong when mike posted in parts for sale and still wouldn't see a problem with it.now if you was to put thirty different items and had a bug shop and was selling gobs of stuff then that's one thing.but if you got a few things you make or have designed that you do on the now and then that passes on quality stuff to help out fellow buggy riders then I see nothing wrong.IMO.but it's not my site so if it's about money then I guess that would make a difference also.don't know guess I'm tore'en like an old sweater! Lol.Chad |

Glad someone asked. The idea of the for sale section is to sell the occasional parts. For the person who has upgraded and has extra parts to get rid of. I was a commercial operation here. I paid a price to have a banner and to advertise my product. When someone advertises a commercial venture, which Mr sawyer is doing, without paying a price, when so many other "sponcers" have paid is WRONG. What would stop Appletree, or McKenzies, just for example, to post in Parts, Parts and More Parts "Here we are and here's our number" and then every week bumps it to the top. By not having a rule on advertising there is nothing the moderators can do to stop it. And if they were to try, there would be a problem. So folks like Davis Racing and Southern Buggy's and the rest who paid to be a commercial advertiser are in effect being robbed. The powers to be have decided that the paid sponcers, or advertisers do not deserve any sort of protection from free loader advertisers by banning unpaid commercial advertising. I have thrown up a warning flag several times in regards to this and it's been ignored. Lets see how you like it when you put up $400 in product for the right to sell your stuff and someone comes along and does it for nothing. Just because someone does something in the past, or received permission from someone who is no longer associated with the site doesn't mean it's good today. |

Thanks Jeremy used to have two braces instead of one on bottom I am guessing he changed it to one to save weight because they were not bending with two . We have bought probly 4 to 5 set in my group and luv them. Not one problemo !!! |

Is the "commercial license" to sell on Woodsbuggy a one time fee or is it something that needs re-upped every year? Also, other than the colored banner does sponsor status involve anything other than a link to the vendors site? Being an old sweater guy myself I'm just trying to learn something here. |

I think those are questions are things the moderators could answer in private messages . Probly not a public thing . |
